Take What You Need Tuesday: Breaking Up with Procrastination

Let’s be real… I’m a big procrastinator. Like, Queen of I’ll do it later. And lately, I’ve been asking myself—is it depression? Is it laziness? Or is it just fear holding me back?

Either way, I’ve been trying, trying, trying to be more intentional with my time, my goals, my life. I don’t want to keep waiting on the perfect moment to start, because guess what? The perfect moment doesn’t exist.

So this week, I’m taking what I need:

📝 A reminder that progress > perfection.

🕰️ Small, consistent steps > waiting for motivation.

💪 A decision to push through the funk, even if it’s messy.

Here are some tips I’m working on to help me (and maybe you, too) break up with procrastination:

✨ Break it down – Big tasks feel heavy. Chop them into small, bite-sized wins.

✨ Do the hard thing first – That thing you’re avoiding? Tackle it first and the rest feels lighter.

✨ Set a timer – 20 minutes. Just start. You’ll be surprised what you can knock out.

✨ Remove distractions – Social media can wait. Focus mode on.

✨ Give yourself grace – You’re human. Some days you’ll kill it, some days you’ll coast. It’s okay.

I’m not perfect, but I’m trying. And that’s enough for today.

Take what you need, Baddie. Let’s keep going together.

Drop a ❤️ in the comments if you’re working on procrastination too. What’s one small thing you’ll do today to take action?
